Person-Centred Design Thinking

TeamLab

How can we effectively solve problems that impact our clients or customers? Understanding their needs is the first step. TeamLab is offering two different workshops on design - one for teams providing assistance to people with support needs, and the other to teams who design for groups.

Up to 20 people

2 - 3 hours

Venue

Indoor

Cost

From $85 per person

Two versions of this workshop are available.

1. Person-Centred Planning: How do you know what your individual clients want? What if they have difficulty communicating their needs? This workshop is aimed at teams working in the social care sector. Join us to work through a range of tools available to identify a clients individual needs to design a service around them, in the way they want. When the team is on the same page as the client, great things happen for everyone.

2. Design Thinking: Design thinking focuses on solutions to problems. This workshop will introduce your to the stages of human-centred design thinking. In an interactive session, you will be challenged as a team to design a solution to a hypothetical problem. Although just a taster, teams will gain greater understanding of the stages to finding solutions to complex problems.

Outcomes:

- Empathy

- Connections

- Enlightenment

- Cohesion

- Reflection

- Creativity

What we love about Person-Centred Design Thinking - watching how teams step into the shoes of others.
